I have a question that I haven't seen asked yet: is magic and other supernatural phenomena a known and accepted thing in Hi Note's world?

Oh, Hi-Note takes place on basically the exact same earth as the one we live in--with the only difference being that the Hi-Note characters (and all things related to them) exist. So, just like in our world, there are people who believe in the supernatural, and many who do not lmao

#For context #I live in Thailand--where every house #and I mean EVERY HOUSE #and shop #and mall #has a smaller house built upon a ceremoniously selected part of the property #for the spirits and such to comfortably live in.#and it is important to leave food and drink for them in front of their little house.#Not doing so--or building the spirit house in the wrong place #can be disasterous.#So...I think...#we do live in a world where magic and supernatural phenomenon are known and accepted more than you might realize :D #and that is (more or less) the same world that Margie Raf and Cortes inhabit.

i don’t know about you guys but the main reason i am still on tumblr in 2024 is BECAUSE it is the most cloutless least influential social media app out there and that is the experience i am after. absolutely none of this will ever translate into significant attention or real success in my life and that is so beautiful.

#THIS TOOK ME FOREVER RAAHHHH #i had help from my mom with stuff like the parts of the traje de mestiza which is the outfit shes wearing #this trend looks so much fun and i wanted to join in.. im first gen canadian though so ive never been to the philippines and only #know thru stories of my parents growing up. im proud of my heritage but there are some things i didnt grow up with that #make me feel disconnected from my culture. so it was nice to talk to my mom abt it and ask for her help with this :3 #the pleated tapis is meant to resemble her skirt.. i had no way of adding her stockings but i noticed the piano key design #so i used that for the saya. the bandana is meant to resemble her hairties and shes wearing bakya wooden slippers with embroidery #i kinda wanted to add the panuelo to resemble her tie as a finishing touch but i forgor ;w; just imagine it i guess #my mom really likes this. shes a little confused abt the blue hair and i had to explain her hair is like that but she thinks shes pretty #originally i wanted her holding the woven pamaypay and fanning herself because ITS HOT ITS 25 FUCKING DEGREES TODAY #but i couldnt get the pose right so i settled for this. i wanna draw her and brazilian miku high fiving ill do that tmrw #my art #myart #hatsune miku #miku worldwide #philippines #vocaloid #miku

The secret Dungeon Meshi sauce that's getting people to eat better is that it's so non-judgmental. Senshi and the rest of the gang never talk about what not to eat besides things that taste bad and literal poison. They don't even talk about "health" that much besides the importance of a balanced diet. It's so much easier to eat well when you think of food simply as something your body needs, and that it's often worth the extra effort to make it taste good, especially when you understand how to connect "things your body needs" with "things that taste good"
